Wellington College Hangzhou is thrilled to announce an exceptional set of examination results for the 2021-2022 academic year.

59%  A*

73%  A*/A

84% A*/B

Master of Wellington College Hangzhou Mrs Kathryn Richardson is extremely proud of the pupils and their recent achievements. She also believes the outstanding teaching and learning and strong student/staff relationships was the recipe for such success.

A* was by far the most common grade achieved by pupils.

Among these excellent results there are plenty of stories of individual brilliance. For example, two pupils achieved all A*-A grades. They are now looking forward to continuing their studies in our Sixth Form.

Laura Perry, Head of Junior High quoted, "What an outstanding achievement. We celebrate their efforts and thank all those at Wellington College Hangzhou who contributed to their success."

IGCSEs are the gold standard qualification for 14 to 16 year olds and are recognised by leading universities and colleges worldwide. These exceptional results are testament to the talented students, dedicated teachers and supportive parents at Wellington College Hangzhou. They reflect the high standards set by all Wellington College schools and mark the beginning of a future legacy of academic excellence at Wellington College Hangzhou.
