Winter Fair: Join Us for a Warm and Joyful Winter Night

Before we step into the celebrations of the Winter Fair, let us take a moment to revisit the heart-warming journey of our Wellington Choir as they brought music to the city this festive season. Over the past few weeks, they have taken part in several Christmas tree lighting ceremonies across Hangzhou, sharing the first light and warmth of the holidays through their clear and beautiful voices.

And during the Winter Fair, the Wellington Choir will return to their home stage on campus, filling the night sky with music once again and offering festive blessings to all our guests.

As one of the most atmospheric and internationally inspired open events of the year, the Winter Fair is not only a favourite among our pupils, but also a much-anticipated festive occasion for the entire Wellington community. Whether you are visiting Wellington for the first time or have grown with us over many school years, this evening will bring you and your family warmth, joy and delightful surprises.

For this year's Winter Fair, our campus will be transformed into a glowing 'winter town'. Lights, archways, decorations and music will come together to create an immersive space infused with multicultural flair — bringing an authentic international Christmas market to life right here in Hangzhou.

You will find teachers from different countries running their own themed stalls, each one reflecting their culture, memories and festive traditions, allowing pupils to experience global seasonal customs without even leaving the school.

The Winter Fair is not only a vibrant market, but also one of the most community-centred family events of the year.

There are games and creative zones for pupils, themed stalls and festive gifts for parents, and international cuisine for all ages. Everyone — from the youngest child to the oldest guest — can find their own festive joy under the winter night sky.
