Chairman Xu Guanju of Transfar Group Visited Our School

On Wednesday, Chairman of Transfar Group and Honorary Chairman of Wellington College Education (China) – Hangzhou, Mr Xu Guanju, together with Mr Chen Tao, President of Transfar Science and Technology City Co. Ltd., Mr Jiang Zhangke, Executive Vice President, Ms Wang Lijia, Assistant to the President, and Ms Chen Miaomiao, General Manager of the Industrial Investment Promotion Department, visited our school for a tour and guidance. 

 

They were warmly welcomed by Joy Qiao, Chairman of Wellington College Education (China), Kathryn Richardson, Master of Wellington College Education (China) – Hangzhou, Ivey Wang, Principal, Tracey Zheng, Vice Principal of Primary Schools, Chang Liu, Bursar and James He, Director of Marketing and Admissions.

Accompanied by the school senior leadership team, Chairman Xu and his delegation visited the newly completed Sixth Form Centre, the Makerspace, the computer laboratories and various classrooms, where they were able to experience first-hand the school's strong academic atmosphere. During the tour, Chairman Xu made detailed inquiries about the curriculum design, teaching practices and daily operations of the school. He spoke highly of the school's achievements in continuously upgrading its teaching facilities in recent years and in creating an outstanding learning environment for pupils.

During the on-site visit, Chairman Xu also offered constructive suggestions on enhancing campus operational efficiency, refining marketing strategies and optimising the campus environment, providing valuable insights for the school's future development. Following this, the school senior leadership team presented a comprehensive report on the school's key priorities for 2025, covering areas from innovation in teaching and learning to upgrades in campus services. Chairman Xu affirmed the school's advanced educational philosophy, clear development strategy and long-term vision. He further encouraged the school to uphold its distinctive educational ethos, continue to embrace innovation and maintain its commitment to educational excellence, thereby driving the advancement of the sector to new heights.
