Last week, Wellington College International Hangzhou Primary witnessed an unforgettable celebration of creativity, confidence and collaboration as our talented Year 6 pupils took to the stage for the school's very first musical production: Madagascar! Bursting with energy, humour and heart, the performance was a testament to the dedication of our pupils and the unwavering support of our dedicated teaching staff who made this performance happen.

From the moment the curtains rose, the audience was transported to the vibrant world of Claire as Alex the Lion, Pauline as Marty the Zebra, Florence as Gloria the Hippo and Jeffrey as Melman the Giraffe. The young performers dazzled with their singing, acting and dancing, embodying the spirit of Be You, Be More and exemplifying our school values by showing courage to step into the spotlight to entertain us all.

The production was more than just a show; it was a journey of growth. Weeks of rehearsals, set design and teamwork culminated in a performance that highlighted the unique talents of every child. Whether playing a lead role or part of the ensemble, each pupil contributed to the magic, proving that at Wellington College International Hangzhou, every individual has the opportunity to shine.

Parents, teachers and guests were left in awe, not just by the polished performances but by the sheer joy and confidence radiating from the stage. As we reflect on this milestone, we are reminded that Madagascar was just the beginning. At Wellington College International Hangzhou, we nurture not just academic excellence but the arts, pastoral development and the courage to Be You, Be More.
Congratulations to our incredible Year 6 pupils, and a heartfelt thank you to the staff, parents and everyone who made this magical production possible.
Here's to many more unforgettable performances ahead!
