Wellington College Hangzhou's Latest 2025 Offers Update!

As the 2025 application season is in full swing, staff and pupils at Wellington College Hangzhou have achieved remarkable university offers through their unremitting dedication and collaborative efforts.

 

As of 26th March, our graduates have received 71 offers, making an average of over 5 offers per pupil. Of the offers received, an outstanding 50% came from the world's top 20 universities and 70% from the top 50 institutions worldwide. The cumulative scholarship amount awarded has reached nearly 3 million RMB.

 

Rebecca from Wellington College Hangzhou Sixth Form has successfully earned an offer from UCLA. Her impressive academic achievements and distinctive personal journey enabled her to shine in this global arena, highlighting the remarkable caliber of Wellington students. UCLA, renowned as the most prestigious campus within the University of California system, is a top choice for international students worldwide. As the first U.S. university to receive over 100,000 applications, admission to UCLA is highly competitive.

Anna from our Sixth Form has smashed it by securing a prestigious offer from UCL this month. Her outstanding academic achievements and all-round abilities have paid off! Amidst the annual fluctuations of the QS World University Rankings, University College London (UCL) has maintained its position in the top ten for ten consecutive years, consistently standing as the only UK institution beyond Oxford and Cambridge to achieve this distinction. In the newly released 2025 rankings, UCL secured ninth place globally.

Wellington College Hangzhou pupils have also received offers from other world-leading institutions including King's College London, the University of Melbourne, the University of Sydney, the University of Edinburgh and the University of Manchester. Furthermore, our graduates have gained recognition from multiple top 100 global universities, such as the University of Bristol, the City University of Hong Kong and the University of California, San Diego.

 

In the realm of professional college admissions, our school continues to demonstrate robust strength, consistently securing offers from top-tier institutions in the humanities and arts, such as the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and Otis College of Art and Design. 

 

Particularly noteworthy is the exceptional performance of pupil Norah, who has successively received offers from two world-leading institutions ranked first and second globally in the 2025 QS World University Rankings for Hospitality Management—Switzerland's École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and Les Roches. These remarkable achievements highlight the boundless potential of our pupils across diverse academic fields!
