Families Forge Green Commitment Through Riverside Planting

On 8th March, FOW, along with Qianwan Zhigu and Yuqianwan, successfully held a tree-planting event themed "Make Friends with Spring Through Planting" on the riverside greenway of Qianwan Zhigu and in the Yuqianwan project park. 80 families gathered at the site, injecting new vitality into the city's ecological construction through an immersive nature experience.

At the event, parents and children collaborated to complete the entire tree planting process: from shovelling soil, supporting seedlings, and filling pits, to compacting and watering soil, each step communicated the concept of environmental protection.

This event created an eco-classroom combining education with entertainment for families. Families expressed that they would continue to follow the tree maintenance process, extending this "spring rendezvous" into a green commitment for the entire lifecycle.

The sports bag charity sale, which carries the warm memories of the Wellington community, has officially relaunched! This year, with the theme "Colourful Youth, Joyful Sports," we are launching a new limited-edition sports bag, weaving sports vitality into the most captivating scenery.

The proceeds from this sale will be used to support the annual activities of the Friends Of Wellington, including but not limited to the Spring Festival Garden Party, Annual Dinner, Summer Carnival and Sports Day, as well as parent workshops and classes, aiming to better develop the Wellington community and provide a rich campus life for Wellington pupils.
