On a crisp winter morning, Wellington College International Hangzhou Primary welcomed families and friends for an unforgettable Winter Concert. 

The event commenced with a spectacular prelude by the talented trio of Celia, Chelsea, and Pauline, followed by Anja and Jenny's enchanting rendition of Clement Clarke Moore's "Twas the Night Before Christmas," which set the festive mood. 

Year 6 mesmerised the audience with "The Holiday Tango," accompanied by ukuleles. 

Our Year 1 and 2 pupils brought joyful energy with "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree," captivating everyone with their excitement. Years 3 and 4 followed with an African Carol, brilliantly accompanied by Djembe drums and glockenspiels learned in their music lessons. 

Year 5 dazzled with an innovative body percussion performance to "In the Halls of Percussion King" and a lively rendition of "Deck the Halls.” 

For the grand finale, Year 5 and 6 pupils united for a powerful medley of "A Christmas Medley" and a stunning version of "Sweet Silent Night," leaving the audience feeling the Christmas spirit. 

We extend heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful hosts, Grace and Carina, and to our dedicated music teacher, Ms. Kim, whose tireless efforts made this magical event a success. 

Thank you, dear parents and families, for your unwavering support. We hope the Winter Concert filled your hearts with pride and joy. Here's to celebrating more magical moments with our talented pupils. 

On the last day of the Michaelmas term, pupils, parents and staff gathered together in the atrium of Wellington College International Hangzhou to enjoy a Christmas celebration. They were entertained by the harmonious voices of pupils from Years 5 and 6, who sang a selection of festive songs. The pupils gathered together on the stage and sang their hearts out to their audience.

Around the periphery of the atrium, there were several stalls arranged for children and parents to peruse and purchase items. 

Mr Wang's charity stall was quite popular, with all proceeds from his sales going towards the Roots and Shoots charity. 

The library had a stack of Christmas books that the pupils could borrow to read at their leisure. 

The School Council had their own stand where children could complete a quiz sheet in the hope of winning a gift from Santa in a random draw. 

Miss Saeedvafa and Hardinge House also had a charity stall where they were selling donated, unwanted Taobao purchases, with all proceeds supporting UNICEF. Mr Coleman, the head of primary, walked around handing out delicious cookies.

The one and only Santa Claus was present in his grotto, where children were able to visit him and tell him what presents they were hoping for him to bring them for Christmas. He was so popular that there was a long queue waiting to see him.

The Christmas celebration left everyone in high festive spirits, ready to enjoy this wonderful time of year with their loved ones.
