Inspiring Futures: The 2023-2024 Annual Celebration Assembly

Last week, Wellington College Hangzhou held its annual celebration assembly for the 2023-2024 academic year. Teachers and pupils gathered to witness the growth and honours achieved by the pupils over the past year. During the assembly, those who had demonstrated outstanding performance in different fields over the past year were recognised, encouraging them to continue steadfastly pursuing their dreams.

On the day of the awards ceremony, the Grand Theatre was filled with an exhilarating atmosphere. Awards were presented in various categories, including the Most Improved Award, Academic Achievement Award, Performing Arts Award, House Pupil of the Year, Boarding House Award, Best Athlete Award, and Best Sports Team Award. The winning pupils went up on stage to receive their awards one by one, and the audience frequently erupted in applause and cheers.

From autumn to midsummer, our pupils, guided by the five core values of "Kindness, Responsibility, Respect, Courage, and Integrity," continuously challenged themselves, pursued excellence, and gradually turned their dreams into reality. The awards ceremony was not only a testament to the pupils' honours but also an important milestone in their journey of growth. We sincerely congratulate each award-winning pupil and look forward to them continuing to carry their dreams forward, shining even more brightly on their future paths.
