Xiaoshan District leaders visited Wellington College Hangzhou

Deputy District Mayor, Yang Xincheng paid a visit to Hiba Academy Hangzhou and Wellington College International Hangzhou on 15 February. She was accompanied by responsible personnel from the district education bureau, district government office, Science and Technology Polis, Ningwei subdistrict office, and Qianjiang education guidance centre.  The delegation was warmly welcomed by Kathryn Richardson, Master of Wellington College Hangzhou, and Ivey Wang, Principal of Hiba Academy Hangzhou.

The team visited our atrium, school culture corridor and toured other areas of the campus.  They learnt about the school history, educational ethos, curriculum, academic team development, and daily operations; such as management of the school bus service. They encouraged the school to continue to strengthen parent-school communications, academic support and pastoral care for pupils.   Also to engage in cross-school interaction and communication to build a world-class international education brand.  

With the start of the new term, Wellington College International Hangzhou, as a member of Wellington College Hangzhou, continues to follow our proud tradition and educate for the future whilst implementing the ideal of a quality international education. It is our vision to create a caring international community that develops well-rounded individuals with strong values and the skills to thrive in an ever-changing world.
