Celebrating pupils’ excellent language achievements
In total, 12,882 pupils from all over the world competed from 134 schools answering over 5.4 million questions. This is the first year that our Wellington College International Hangzhou pupils have entered the competition. We are delighted to report that we, as a school, achieved first in China for French and first in China for Spanish. Twenty-nine of our pupils competed in French and five pupils competed in Spanish against other schools.

I am delighted with the results and incredibly proud of my pupils. This is only the beginning of our school potential in foreign languages. We should prepare to see them shine again in the future in French and Spanish.
