On 30 May, just ahead of Children's Day,

our Summer Carnival will return as scheduled.

This year,

under the theme "No Age For Joy,"

we would like to invite every child,
and every adult who once was one,

to set aside, if only for a while, 

busyness and roles,

and, in the early summer campus,

rediscover laughter, togetherness, 

and simple joy—sharing a relaxed

and warm afternoon together.

On this afternoon,

music belongs to more than just the stage.

From timeless classics passed down

over the past 70 years
to today's contemporary favourites of 2026,
voices from different eras

will resonate across the same campus.

And those who take the stage are not only

"performers" in the traditional sense.
Pupils, teachers, and parents

within the Wellington community
will all take part in their own ways,
allowing music to become

a natural expression that connects everyone.

At the same time,

familiar moments of surprise will return.
Multiple rounds of raffle draws

will run throughout the event,

Flavours from different cultures

quietly meet across the campus—
maybe a familiar taste of everyday comfort,

simply wander, observe, taste, and talk.

Those memories and moments

shared around food will,

almost effortlessly,
gently bring people closer together.

Happiness doesn't need complicated reasons.

It might be trying something

with your own hands,
a small game with no winners or losers,
or simply completing a little task

together with your child.

Here, there is no "right way to play",
only your own way of taking part.

No matter your age,
you can always find the right balance

of engagement and ease.
