Ensuring the healthy development of children at school begins with safeguarding their safety. Wellington College Education (China) - Hangzhou has established a comprehensive Child Safeguarding Programme that is embedded into every aspect of school operations — from each signature in the staff recruitment process, to staff training, and to educating pupils on how to protect themselves. Our staff are trained to identify signs that a child may require support and know how to deliver that support appropriately and sensitively.

We have a trained team of Designated Safeguarding Leads who serve as the primary contact persons for all safeguarding-related matters, ensuring that our safeguarding practices throughout the College meet international standards.
