The Friends of Wellington was founded to represent our parents, teachers and other members of the Wellington community. The Friends of Wellington meet regularly and contribute to making life at the school vibrant, not just for the pupils but for all our stakeholders, by working to bring people together to share, learn and celebrate.
As an expat community in Hangzhou, FOW offers the opportunity to get to know teachers and other staff members in more relaxed settings, and to learn more about the fantastic team we have here at Wellington College in Hangzhou. Events such as the International Day, Winter Fair, Summer Carnival, shopping trips and various evening events for parents are examples of the social and cultural sides of the FOW. The school and parents collaborate on an ever-growing programme of charitable events that offer pupils the chance to engage in service and altruism.
