WCCH Pupils Win Gold at Botball International Robotics Final!
This month, six pupils from Wellington College Hangzhou participated in the finals of the 2024 Botball International Educational Robotics Conference at the National Speed Skating Oval in Beijing. The competition attracted nearly 2000 pupils from more than 20 regions in China and from countries such as the United States, Austria, and Malaysia.
In the fierce finals, the two teams from Wellington College Hangzhou stood out with their excellent performance and won the gold medals, drawing everyone’s attention. The competition was covered in its entirety by CCTV-13 and BRTV. This achievement brought honour to WCCH and marked a perfect end to the dedication of the participating pupils.

The Botball International Educational Robotics Conference is a science and technology education event for the young with significant global influence. Its purpose is to promote the practice and progress of young people in the STEM field through academic exchanges and a series of robotics-themed activities and to cultivate global talents with global perspectives, scientific literacy, and a sound personality.
