Over the course of their study students in hangzhou international school will learn about unifying patterns and themes in science and use them in new and changing situations. Students will grow in their knowledge of scientific facts, terminology, principles, concepts and ability to carry out practical work. They will then use this to apply what they have gained into a variety of different scenarios and environments.  

They will have to make judgement calls based on information that is put in front of them to apply safely to a variety of investigations in a practical manner. They will also learn key cross curricular and life skills such as how to analyse, interpret and evaluate data of experimental methods.
