International Day celebrations 2022

Wellington College International Hangzhou annual International day took place this year on 16th June. The theme for this year: We are all different and beautiful! Following the school council flag parade and Mr Brown’s opening speech, the Senior school pupils experienced different workshops finding out about beauty standards around the world, the iceberg of culture, and greeting rituals around the world.

Primary pupils researched about a country of their choice and were able to display their work for Senior pupils to visit. We all then danced la Macarena as a whole school which was great fun!

Our school community is diverse and every member of this community brings a unique taste that drives us to open our mind further: Yes! We are all different and beautiful!
